    Replacing the antenna grommet

When replacing the antenna grommet, am I suppose to use some kinda silicone of some sort?
I guess I just have to rip off the old one, and lubricate the new one and slide it over the mast right? But what kinda glue should I use so that it stays on the body?

no, it just pops right in. you have to remove the mast and put it in from the top, which isn't very hard, you just have to take the trunk carpet out to get to it (which isn't hard either).

Also, when you try and make it sit flush against the body between the two lips of the grommet, twist it left and right and it will work its way in there.
