    Power sunroof conversion

I am removing the power sunroof parts from my parts car to be used for a conversion. When removing the motor, do I have to remove the tracks and all that jazz? Are those parts the same on crank sunroof cars? Can I just remove the motor, and sell that for the conversion?

        TJ:

These are the following parts you'll need for the sunroof conversion:

        Black overhead panel (headliner)
        bracket for sunroof cable
        bracket for sunroof motor
        sunroof motor
        switch
        relay
        wiring harness

The difficult part is taking out the old bracket (from the crank) without cutting the headliner. If you do cut it, it will be covered by the black headliner piece, so it's not a big deal (just re-stitch it together).

No, just the black one in front; the one that holds the visors.

              bingo.

One has an opening for a switch, the other for a crank.
