Surging Eta! Help!!

    update......o2 sensor bad. Only surged when warm, disconnected at passenger firewall and ran around the block a couple times. Problem went away. I plugged it back in and the surging did not come back right away but the flat spot in throttle came back. 132 bones for a new one !!!!

      Coolant temp. sensor did the trick for me.

          i have the same problem with my 86 eta. but it doesnt matter if im going up or down a hill it surges from 1000rpm to redline and its intermittent. some times the car will drive prefectly fine and its a night and day difference.

              i have bosch platinums in my Eta (PO, not me) i think they are the P2's? i have heard more downs than ups about them. no one can realy come up with facts for them.. kinda like my generic chip that still works fine for the records
