Will the ssk from here (http://www.r3vlimited.com/phpBB2/vie...ght=z4+shifter) work fine with an e30 that has a late m30 swap?

I am currently putting a Z4 3.0 SSK together. Everything is fitting tgether good. The only thing I have had to do is file down the upper ball cup to fit it on the z4 lever.Jordan, when he has nothing bad to say, he says nothing at all. Cuz he's way better than us, right?Comment

The upper ball cup isn't large enough to fit aound the z4 lever. Our stock levers were 2 peice ones that come apart, not the case with the z4 lever. So I had to file down the inner rim of the cup to make it slide on. A dremel drill works great.
OH yea, Some pple cut them in one spot so they can slide it on. I am not sure if either way is better. But one way or another its gotta go on. :)Jordan, when he has nothing bad to say, he says nothing at all. Cuz he's way better than us, right?Comment

If you mean the white nylon piece, it's supposed slide up from the bottom, by the pivot. That's why there's a "square" cutout in it, to go around the pivot.

On the sheet metal console there are two of them. The bottom one has the square cutout, but the top one doesn't.Originally posted by e30MattIf you mean the white nylon piece, it's supposed slide up from the bottom, by the pivot. That's why there's a "square" cutout in it, to go around the pivot.
I rolled a piece of sand paper like a cone and just twisted the top one around on it. It fit like a glove afterward over the top.Originally posted by Grueliusand i do not know what bugg brakes are.Comment

No the 325i tranny will not work. The bell housing bolt pattern is different.Originally posted by BokesOT: do you know if the normal 325i transmission will work with an m30 swap?Comment
