I've got the IE exhaust. It sounds pretty good. Not a dramatic change over stock. But definetely a little louder and a little more throaty and deep. I'd recommend it, and you can't beat the price (assuming they haven't raised it). -

A friend of mine has one of these on his '90 325is. Installation is a direct bolt-in procedure using all the factory mounting points. He's had no complaints in the 8+ months he's had it.
As for sound quality, it was pretty quiet at first.....a tad louder than stock. But since breaking it in, the sound it produces has become more audible, but its not by any means irritatingly loud. I would say its on par with SuperSprint in terms of sound.
