Opinions other than your own are always wrong.
I just do not like four cylinder engines in general, don't like my step dad's 03 altima that is a four cylinder either. Do not know much about the 2002 either.
Don't want to make any enemies, sis not think any one would take what I say so seriously.
Could the discs inside the diff cause this?Comment

Don't say bad things about the 4-cyl around M42 peeps... It won't end up good. ;)Originally posted by kylebes1Opinions other than your own are always wrong.

What a great display of genious ideology towards four cylinder engines. Have you noticed that your hole is getting deeper with every post?Originally posted by kylebes1I just do not like four cylinder engines in general, don't like my step dad's 03 altima that is a four cylinder either. You have such a commanding grasp of grammer also. I'd suggest learning how to use the word "either" before you use it in a sentence. May I suggest the "Bedford Handbook for Writers".Don't forget the good things Hitler did.Comment

yea man, got a chance to compare the eta to an m42 on the highway. 4th gear pulls are nearly even if not upperhaned by the eta torque. Both cars stock, mine has different exhaust but we all know that does do anything..Originally posted by James CrivelloneI think the ETA Falls under that catagory as well :DOriginally posted by e9ninethe m42 is in a class of its own. Loved by few, misunderstood & unappreciated by most.Originally posted by hamann318isWhat's wrong with the M42? That's a 4-cyl varient...
anyway, did you try swapping the fluid? If your not running the correct type or havent changed it in awhile it might make some noise when your running it in the corners. I put new synthetic oil in mine and I have no noiseOld and improved:

you must just suck at driving.Originally posted by kylebes1advise: you should never buy an m10 car!! unless it is the powerful varient, the s14.
I have an 84 318i and I drove with the 90 hp four cylinder for about 6 months and have now swapped to the m50.
The LSD is pretty good on mine as well, got me messed up twice in the rain.
i drive an m10 daily and it is a shitload of fun, plus its great for a young kid with a lead foot because its very hard to get into trouble with.Comment

The 4-cyl pwns in gas mileage too. High revs make the M42 magic, fun, but a bit easier to get into trouble with. ;)Originally posted by Schnell 318you must just suck at driving.Originally posted by kylebes1advise: you should never buy an m10 car!! unless it is the powerful varient, the s14.

bimmerboy... sorry your thread got COMPLETELY JACKED.
Did you ever try those things that people suggested? I'd think it was the diff myself too. Use redline fluids in your diff and tranny and you'll be happy. redline 75W90 in the diff and MT90 in the tranny.
Wheel bearings usually squeak not chatter, but check em' anyways.Comment
