Installing my IE Exhaust

Thanks to all who advised it.

Glad you like it. Oh and I just squeezed the stock clamps around the muffler. They fit with a bit of tugging...didn't hurt anything.

I think the muffler that was on there was aftermarket, cause there is no way in hell that I could get those around it. I'll just call up IE and BS them to give me some free mounts. If I dont get any I think I will try to get some stainless ones for it to match.

Autozone doesn't have stock style ones. they have 1 generic kind......where can I get stock ones?

Thanks, but I ordered mine from BMA this morning. All I needed was the clamps, not the hangers. I didn't know exactly what they were call before.

For whoever asked earlier it cost a total of $525. Well worth it. I love the exhaust. And it wasn't hard to intall except getting the bolts that connect it to the cat off. It would be easier with a lift, but the way i did it worked.

Well I'm replacing my exhaust too.

After a full day of buying random tools I got all the parts off... the bolts for the muffler hangers all snapped off.. the nuts were stuck on bad.

The flange where the cat connects to the midpipe .. the midpipe had rusted off leaving only the flange and those nuts are impossible to remove. I am using crafstman autlocking pliers, stripped bolt nut bits, it is STUCK. Crap.

I think I need to saw off the bolts, but I don't got a saw... so now the car is completely exhaustless....

And yes, I soaked everything in pblaster for a few hours.

Good to hear. Exceeds my spending and needs right now, but I'm sure it's worth every penny for you. :)
