what would cut power to my ecu?

ive had a problem for a while now... the car will be driving fine, then all of a sudden it will buck, sputter, cut out, ect. i was watching the ms box when it was happening yesterday and the ms will completely turn off, then turn back on and the 2nd light (lit up fully during warm up) will quickly flash. im thinking something is being grounded out intermittently.

any common wiring locations to look at? where is the power supply for the ecu ran to?

    thanks

The power for the ECU runs through the main relay. In this case that would be the first thing to check/replace.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

ugh this is so frustrating. the wiring on this car is such a mess. whoever did the swap half ass'd the shit out of the main relay wiring, that is my problem

i replaced the actual relay itself, but no go, still has the same symptoms

      any other ideas?

Are you sure its not a ECU reset? I had problems with the wiring for my VR sensor when i first put on my coil packs and it did a similar deal. I Relocated the wire and the interference went away.
