Get euro metal bumpers. I love those and they will make your car look a whole lot better. Talk to James what he has done with his. I saw it last night and was completely amazed at what he has done with it and what he is going to do with it. Prove all these people wrong and keep this one and throw all that $$ into it and make it perfect.sigpic

mybad, I thought somewhere that it was an auto. Not that it much matters, the engine has to go if its going to be fast anyway. The problem with the early US cars is you are starting with such a handicap. Now if you dont care about the looks they make a good race build chassis because they are soo cheap.Im now E30less.

I would personally keep the car. I started with a very good condition '86 eta and I wouldn't have had it any other way.
Finding an e30 in really good condition and low miles is next to impossible. I would definitely keep the chassis you have.
Also, you do NOT have to start with an "i" head to do a stroker. You would simply need a complete "i" head with either custom pistons made of the Super Eta pistons. There's also quite a few other things you would need. It is easier to start with an "i". Go to www.strictlyeta.net for Fred's very complete writeup.
So yea, find a perfect chassis and go from there. It may take you longer and be a little more difficult to get everything how you want it, but it will come out better in the end.

Any retard can order a lip and some springs for their 88+ e30. True enthusiasts skip those fat assed cars with volvo tail lights.... ;) Keep your car, and mod that.Below the radar...
