    Question for M50/S50 Swappers

    What clutch and flywheel do you use for the M50/S50 swap when using a 260 trans?

    Stock.

    You can use E30 M3 if you really want. :)

      The twin cam engines use dual-mass flywheels that weigh something like 30+ pounds. You could exchange it for a stock M20 flywheel...that alone will remove around 10 lbs. If you're so inclined, you could take an M20 flywheel to a machine shop and have it lightened up some (like Metric Mechanic does) to around 13 lbs.....it shouldn't cost much either. That should offer a significant improvement in throttle response.
