DI panel brake light (idiot light on)

Anyone out there have any further suggestions on what to look for in the brake light circuit to make the freeking LED go out? I looked at the connectors at the tailight housings, not too ratty. I cleaned the contacts, greased them, cleaned the sockets and greased new bulbs before putting them in. Proper Osram, too. WTF? I havent done a thourough job in the 3rd light yet, that is today as I do my sub. Gotta make the thing not rattle too!

Looking for specs here people....does anyone know where the resistive value is supposed ot be? Where the damn module is would be cool too, since I am planning on making LED tailights all in red. I am gonna need to match the value cause the damn light is driving me BUGGY!
    'nuff rant.
Thanks in advance for your help,
    Luke

yeah the brake pedal switch can cause that light to come on too, it's cheap and an easy replacement.

no sorry, just look under your brake pedal, it's pretty obvious where the switch is once you see it. it just clips in.

I just did this. it's a $10 part. Called the Brake light switch or Stop light switch.

Remove the driverside underpanel and follow the brake pedal arm, you will see this switch.

My dummy light hasn't come on since replacing.
