    BBK anyone with this kit?

They look like they have swappable hats and I would like to do some larger brakes for next years track events.

I doubt it but this set up is 2k for all seen.

Tarox makes great brake kits......one of the more popular lower priced kits for European cars....especially for Alfa's. The E30 kit is uses their 6 pot calipers.

A pal here put a Tarox bbk on his 2.7L stroker and loved it........unfortunately they would not fit behind his ET25 Racing Dynamics rims without spacers so I bought the rims from him and he replaced them with ET20 MM rims.........Guess it was fortunate for me ;)

    Tarox link is below:

BMP used to sell that kit for E30's. Friggin' bad ass. Probably would have to put in some brake bias valve or something better in the rear though, those massive things would really throw off the brake balance.

I remember when BMP carried those. Weren't they something like $2K+ for the front? I'm sure it offers amazing stopping power....but for that price, IE kits will address both front and rear.

That is an old BMP kit and they still have a few remaining but not as good a deal as this.

This kit has rear rotors included but How big of wheels do I need to goto is my issue. I can't stand monster wheels on E30 they look like Flinstone mobiles.

They need to be 16" wheels to fit the 310x24 rotors

The RD wheels are 16x7.5 ET25.........the 310mm kit will fit under 16x7.5 ET20 wheels....part of the problem with the RD rims is due to the concave spokes.

Keep in mind, you can get the RPI Equipped bbk using Wilwood components for US$900 or the IE bbk using PBR components for US$1100.....but I'm quite sure you already knew that ;)

Yes I did know that but they are not a durable road use caliper and require rebuilding at leats once a year.

Wait, which calipers need rebuilding once a year? The Tar-ox? Are they not meant for street? Thier catalogue has big brake systems under their "street" catagory.

No, not Tarox but Wilwoods. Wilwood recommends that they be done once a year.

Dont end up like Roy W. with his black M3.. The BBS's on it now are one of 2 sets that will clear the brakes. Everything else has spoked to close inboard to clear caliper...
