    Got a stroker question...

Okay, I've currently got an 87 528e with the 2.7 eta of course. I also have an '84 318i. I would like to do a 3.0 liter stroker motor with the eta, and turbocharge it. Then, drop it in the 318i. Does anyone have any information about this, i.e.: horsepower result, costs, and how to do it?

3.0's are wayyy to expensive to get running even without a turbo

Doing a stroker M20 with a turbo would result in some pretty outrageous numbers. There's a guy here named Todd who runs a place called http://www.turbochargingdynamics.com and has some well engineered kits for what you have in mind. One such example is his kit for the stock M20B25 (325i) motor. With stock internals it produces power at or around 300.

Do a search for threads/replies by TDC and you should get several hits.
