NEW CAT, NEW O2 SENSOR (yes, I searched)

Okay, so I did the search thing, and you guys have sold me on the whole catco catalytic converter deal. I'm getting one, just need to find my measurements. (stock '86 325es, in case someone already knows.) But I figured I should probably get a new O2 Sensor as well. Catco sells these too, for a very nice price. I was wondering if I should try and get one of these, or stay with OE. Obviously the price for OE is what's driving this question. (by the way, the O2 Sensor for my car is a 3 wire right?) It's raining, and I don't feel like going outside right now to check. Anyways, they have both products, and I wanted to get your opinions. Thanks for your time and interest.

I second your request since I need the same thing. A part number as well as a good place to get one would be appreciated.

I guess my question wasn't clear. Do I want to get the catco o2 sensor? Has anyone tried these yet? Are these a viable substitute? Thanks.

by the way, when I order this stuff (probably in the next couple days) I will let you know which one I ordered.

oh yeah, I found them the cheapest on summitracing.com (or ebay, of course)

You could just get the O2 sensor from BMA, look at the stickied thread somewhere on here. 10% off for R3VLimited members, and they're already damn cheap.

You want an OEM Bosch 02 sensor. I can get you the part number if you want. I got mine on eBay for like $60, that is a good deal.

I hate to revive an old post, but I was hoping that someone might have the part # for the Catco converter that would work best with my 325is. A place to get it would be great as well.

Don't know about Catcos. But I've always read that DEC cats were the best aftermarket replacement options for our cars (e30 m20).
