    How HOT is your heat?

Not sure if its just me or an E30 tendency, but how adequate is your heater? Doesn't really seem to blow good and hot like any previous car i've owned.

Yes the coolant is full and free of air pockets. The t-stat is new and the hot water valve seems to work, although i haven't really inspected it. Common for them to gum up over time or what? :???:

      Same here.

I could actually burn my hand if I touch the windshield where the top blower blows at it.

Don't know. I can't stand to turn it up on high.

my m42 heater sucked. my s52 heater is hot after the car is on for like 30 seconds, and gets burning hot after a couple minutes.

Hmm, ok. I'll have to check out that valve and see if its actually working properly. :D

mine gets real hot too..have to constantly play with it on the highway (turning it down, then too cold, turning it back up again)

sucks they didnt invent auto climate control back that.

I have that on the E90 and it works freakin wonders...set the temp to 72 and leave it there!
