Can you guys help me. This problem just started. There is a pretty obvious vibration when I'm accelerating hard. It does it between 3,000-4,500 RPM's in first and sometimes in second. Any ideas? I had the flex disk replaced about 6 months ago, could this part have failed in this short amount of time? Thanks.

Damn, if this is a problem, my driveshaft is about to break in pieces. My car has been doing this since I got it. :?Erick Mahle | FullOpp Drift | YouTube

Well too bad this isnt happening to someone with an early car. :?
Mine did it under load. When I was accelerating. It was worst when I was accelerating form a stop around turns. If I let off the throttle it all but dissapeared and as I approached 25mph it faded until I became undiscernable above 25.Im now E30less.

That BMW driveshaft rebuilder in the roundel. "BMW Driveshafts" or something complicated like that. It isnt a horrible process but it can get tiring without a lift. You remove the exhaust and all heatshields. Thats the hard part, the rest just unbolts.
Just click the post button once and wait for it to refresh. It will.Im now E30less.
