How big is the reserve tank in an E30?

Are you guys too poor to buy gas or something? I think I've only ever let the light come on once, and I was on my way to a gas station anyways.
I fear running out of gas and looking like a dumbass parked on the road somewhere, walking to a station, or even worse calling AAA.

haha. i've been wanting to test how long the reserve tank would last. Well today it ran out. bummer. i pulled outa the school parkin lot thinkin i still had plenty and i proceeded to sputter my way into the center turn lane and stall out. luckily my friend was right behind me and left to go get gas for me. All the time i was sitting in the lane with my emergency lights flashing, only 2 cars stopped. both bimmers actually. was kinda cool to see that. but yea i went about 40 miles on reserve tank. i don't plan on ever runnin it down that low again.
