difference in power // less pull on my iX than on my cabby ?

    So...

    I've got an '89 cabrio, and a '91 iX... both m20b25's .. both automatic..
They both have 4.10 lsd's, if I'm not mistaken.. so, why would it feel like my 'vert pulls a lot harder than my iX ?
Also, it seems that my iX never gets to redline... even when flooring it, it will shift at ~ 5500 rpm .. very strange.. no?
    Any suggestions?

    TIA

Well your iX is AWD, that adds alot more drivetrain loss than your vert.

So I guess that would be normal..?

Why would it never hit redline..?
Even when a hold throttle all the way down, it'll shift before 6k rpm..

if it never gets to redline, no that isn't normal.

I would check the adjustment of your throttle cable and kickdown cable. also the usual maintenance items. cabbies and ix's weigh about the same, and the ix has more drivetrain loss, but it shouldn't be a huge difference.
