hit a bump.. got a flicker.. then lost cluster lights and OBC lights w/headlights on

Everything seems to be working fine except I have a pitch black cluster and OBC at night.
I have checked fuses and see any blown.

Also noticed my ashtray lights aren't on.

    Any ideas?
    anyone seen this before.

Not being funny, but did you try hitting another bump? Ive had this happen before and sometimes all it takes is a solid thwack to the dash and everything comes back on.

This actually just happened to me too, except I didn't hit a bump. I changed my cluster and they all died, so there must be something loose back there.

Any idea where I would start? I am trying to figure out what connects ash tray, cluster, and obc lights together.
seems like there would be something simple, but I am not finding much help with the Bentley (as usual)

Does anyone know of a relay or perhaps a direct fuse that I should examine more carefully?

Houston...how is the connection behind the cluster? Does the OBC still work or it just the light bar thats out?

Checked the connections last night.. replaced the cluster lights despite my doubt that it was the issue.

Also the lightbar is fine as it is still super bright when the lights are off. Once the headlights turn on it goes dim (black at night)

Is there a relay for the cluster lights/dimmer/ashtray lights? It seems to be most if not every interior light that is effected when the parking or headlights are turned on.

ground, or possibly the headlight switch itself. prob. the switch though.

Yeah, check the headlight switch. It acts as a fuse itself, and if the dimming feature didn't work smoothly before (lights cut on and off while turning the knob) it could be the problem now.

Will try swapping switches with my beater and report back.

also will take a closer look at 23.

                          Light switch it is.
put the one in from the beater and it worked.
