I did a search and read up on it but where does the wire run from the front to the trunk? is it in side the car or on the underbody??

i did this in my cab, had to cut 2 1 inch round holes to route the wireYour signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

Cabriolets have a knock out oval hole in front of the glove box, on the right...right where the 6 bangers have the stock run.

Please document everything you do using pictures if you can. I wanna try this on my vert when I get a chance.
I was thinking of going to a junk yard, and remove the high gauge wire from one that has it in the trunk and simply retracing that back on my vert.
I figure it should not be a huge deal.

'Verts have a front battery for a reason. The additional bracing on the inside of the car make it a fucking BITCH to run that cable.
I recommend you find a helper like this one:
If you look carefully, you can see the brace.
