I don't think you got what he meant. The bottleneck to an M20's performance is not in the intake, it's a well designed stock unit. No matter how you construct an intake you're not gaining anything worth your time besides sound.

i just did a quick read through, might've missedi t, but how did you go about measureing the height that the shield needed to be in order to properly seal?
