the key needs to be turned to accessory for that to work. you also need to be able to pull the key out to remove the tumbler...

I just got it out!! I used a flathead to wiggle the keyhole around so i could slide my allen in a couple more mm to disengage the catch. Then it slid right out. My fingers were a little moist and when i touched the bare metal my fingers got stuck to it, haha. Damn its cold!

Not if my battery is dead and I cant get in my car.
Anyway, I replaced my voltage regulator, tightened up the alternator belt, and cleaned up my battery posts. So my electrical system is fixed. I got a new key made and the lock cylinder is back in place. So far so good. I could really use a project thread or something.
