    On the road help!

I am traveling out of state to visit family. Alternator belt broke at the house, I have only a few tools. What would be the best way to replace with limited tools? What would be the easiest steps to remove only nessisary parts?

    Thanks

Does the alternator still spin freely? If yes, just loosen the tensioner on the alternator, put the new belt on and tighten it all up again.

Where are you broken down? I'll bet there is someone on here that is near you.

Do you not need to take the other front belt off? Also the crossover water pipe does it need to come off to be able to get the belt on the fan pulley?

You should be able to loosen the tensioner easily and replace the belt. There should be a diagram of the belt placement in your engine bay.
