    Clunking when Braking Hard

Only happens in the rain when I'm stopping pretty hard, almost always when slowing down for a stop sign going down a hill. Hear a loud clunking from the front and feel it in the pedal. What would be causing this?

    Check:

    motor/trans mount rubber
    CABs
    diff mount bushing (yes rly)
caliper mounting bolts on front brakes

Oh yea forgot to ask. Could this just be the ABS doing it's job? Not really sure how it should feel? It's pretty loud though and only coming from the front so I assumed it's not.

Edit: Oh and I replaced the pads and rotors recently. Only did the rears myself though and the mechanic said that the front right caliper is getting stuck sometimes. Could this be the issue?

Sorry, have very little mechanical knowledge.

When the ABS engages, the brake pedal should sink down and vibrate.

That rather sounds like ABS activation on one of the front brakes. How good are the tires?
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
