    my headlights only used 8 amps total, lows only, i guess with the highes on it would be 16 amps, my lowes do not dim like other cars.

      Well your car should not be stumbling when the load is applied. The voltage reguator fried?

        it reamianed stable uinder whatever load, at 13.9

        I am trying as hard as I can to loss it anyway, I may jstu give it up at a dealer, my stepdad is buying me something economic, like a Matrix

          I'm drawing a blank sorry... I'm the type that need to be physically turn a wrench on it. It's very tough to diagnois on the computer not knowing exactly what the car is doing.

            as far as i know the regulator must work fine because the amps go up and the volts stay the same with increasing rpms, that is waht it is supposed to do rihgt?

            The thing is this guy I know is not great at diagonising problems; unless there is a hole in your cylinder head and you can see the ground through the hole in the pan below, then he might say "oh that aint a problem, leave it with me", so if you want to come down to Georgia and help me I will make you a grilled chesse sandwich.

              Love to visit holtlanta but I have work 5 days a week. Plus I'm on a trip on Tuesday. There has to be someone local to you that can find your nightmare.

                i will take it to this other place, thing is most the guys that work on German cars around here onyl talk when Ben Franklin is involved. I think these two German dudes will help me, they are purists, one drives his 2002 race car to the garage every day, that is pimp!
