    The M Roadster knob is the notchiest of them all. The throw is almost as short as the Z4 3.0 lever, but it sits a bit higher.

      Rob sold his lever to me because a shorter lever doesn't always equal faster shifts. The Z3 1.9 or Z4 2.5 can probably go through the gears faster under heavy rpm loads than then z4 3.0. I love the Z4 3.0 though for just scootin' around town, I bought it because I wanted to be able to change gears with the flick of my wrist.

        which one would be best for the quickest overall shifting? Not neccesarily the shortest throw but quickest throw.

              I guess. I personally cant look at a % of 'reduction' and know what that would mean in the car.
