    Need some help

I was just driving my '87 325e and all the instruments on the dash quit except the speedo. Also the blower motor for the AC quit at the same time.

I noticed when I restart the car the tach and all gauges work for about 2-3 seconds and then 0 out again.

Anyone have an idea on what I need to check?

I didn't realize they had anything to do with the blower motor.

2 things....DGSpikes, see the response by M-technik-3 above - probably not a fuse, it's probably the SI Batteries....

and Brodee - you will get more focused and better responses if you are specific in the subject line - rather than using "Need some Help", try "Dash gages and AC quit" - I promise you will have better luck!

I appreciate the advice but my experience with this board has shown me that broader topics get read by more people. The small few on here that know the technical aspects will read the post eventually and someone will hopefully chime in and let me know an experience they have had similar.

In case anyone searches and finds this later, it turned out to be fuse #10. I had checked all the fuses and none looked blown, even after taking this one out and looking at it closely it looked fine.

Anyway, problem fixed as long as it doesn't blow again.

If the SI batteries are bad, it will. My friend played that game for a while, replaced #10 like 5-10 times a day, finally he fixed it, lol.

I replaced the SI batteries too since I had already taken the dash apart.
