    xi swap

i found a vehicle being sold, for very cheap. it is an XI. i basically want to purchase the vehicle and transfer all the workings of an xi drive to a regular i. Can it be done or is there a lot of extra fabrication?

    Thanks
    Brian

e46 xi into an e30. You would basically just be taking the shell of the e46 off and putting an e30 shell over it. All the suspension, differentials, transfer case, engine, transmission and everything else will need to bolt up to the e30- you are asking if there will require a lot of 'extra' fabrication?

            .. ?

The front strut towers are way different. Not possible to swap without a lot of fabrication.
