The odometer in my 1987 325i recently stopped working after a little over 205,000 miles of reliable service. I ordered a set of Garagistic gears and successfully replaced them today; the odometer is working fine again.
However, after reinstalling the cluster, the temperature gauge has shifted its display to the left a bit - it reads really low when the car is off, and it only gets to the slash between the blue and middle slash (about the 25% mark) when the car is warm. It seems like somehow I broke or moved the gauge's lower limit while I was working on the cluster. I suppose it's not the biggest deal in the world as I can just compensate for that when reading it, but I'd prefer to have it the way it was before if it's possible to fix.
