    Sunroof won't close completely?

    Hello everyone,

A bit of context might help...
I don't have access to the car yet. Once it's out of storage, I have about 3 hours to do a few things on it and then drive it 3 hours to my new home. One of the things I would like to get done is get the sunroof to close... y'know, rain.
Also, I haven't had access to the car in a long while, so I don't remember all the symptoms and things I tried.

My plan with this post is I would like to gather as much information and theories as possible to try and troubleshoot this before getting on the road, during the 2-3 hour window I have to get ready, including an oil change, changing motor mounts, reinstalling the seats, fixing my headlights as well as my sunroof.

Here goes: Sunroof worked just fine with the switch, opening and closely fully. Opened it like I usually would to have access to the drains. Removed the battery to do some work on the car, including some welding.
This was a long endeavor, so a few weeks later, once everything was done, put the battery back in. Tried to close the sunroof, and it won't close more than what you see in the picture.

I think I remember trying to close it manually, but it wouldn't work. It doesn't feel like the tracks are jammed either, just nothing happens when I press the switch to close it.
Any ideas of where I should look first? I have access to a multimeter.

    Thank you!

Does it make it all the way forward, but the rear won't lift back up into place? Or is it stuck when trying to move forward? I have had mine get jammed going forward because the weather stripping sagged and was catching on the pop-up wind deflector thing, and the quick fix was to just stand outside the car and push the deflector all the way down while closing the roof.
