    Accelerator pedal bracket questions

About to tackle some rust repair on my e30 (big hole directly underneath my acc. pedal that completely took out the metal bracket the pedal clips into). I was prepared to just buy this part ready made but I'm only able to find one person that makes them and they're located overseas and there's a very long wait time for the part. I feel pretty confident I could fabricate one myself, but since I don't have anything left of the original bracket I have no idea what the dimensions for the part should be. Does anyone here have some information that might help me? (eBay link to custom made part for reference) https://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-E30-Fac...IAAOSwWRFdf51s Thanks in advance.

30s of searching turned up the previous link, and I am sure there are more vendors if you search E30 throttle pedal mount.

Thanks! Would have helped if I used the term throttle pedal mount I guess.

I fabricated a replacement for my car. If you want to make one what you need to do is make a template based on that part of the pedal that will insert into the bracket. I made mine in two pieces that I could then adjust until the base of the pedal would “lock in” and the welded them together.
