euro 323i obc/ clock wiring???

So I bought a 323i euro and the front lip has a temp. sensor in it. However the wiring for the obc is really the correct wiring for the analog clock. I checked
and the wiring has not been spliced in. Does bmw just put a temp sensor in all the front lips? I wanted the 6 button obc; could I splice that into the wiring for
the clock?

thanks for the input. I was just wondering why I do not have the green plug for a 6 button obc but I have a temp sensor in the front lip? I do have the correct wiring
for the analog clock; that I figured out:)

Don't know. My 1993 318I Touring has the green plug and a wire, but it also does not have an OBC.
