Hello all, Nub here. I have a 1990 325i 4dr and the low beams do not come when I turn them on, but come when I turn on high beams they come on same as fog lights. Also the tail light running light stays on when battery is hooked up.

Can you adjust your cluster/dash light brightness? I ask as it sounds like a bad or corroded switch. Might be useful to probe it with a meter. -
check fuses and relays and bulbs sent from hell using Tapatalk~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The dimmer/headlight switches commonly fail, I would suspect that first. Try cleaning the contact very well or swap with a known good part.Owner - Bavarian Restoration
