Cliq tuning fiberglass sunroof delete install?

I recently got a sunroof delete from https://cliqtuning.com/shop/bmw-e30-...c=72e1ba2726d6. It is fiberglass with no mounting holes so I figured some type of sealant such as for windshields would be all i need. Im curious if anyone else has done this and if they can give me some advice? My current sunroof is completely rusted out and leaking. I couldn't seem to find what I was looking on for a DIY in the forums so if I missed something if someone could direct me to that I would really appreciate it. Thank you!

I did a DTM carbon fiber delete, and based on the photo on Cliq's website, its very different, so i may not be able to help too much.

But i put strong magnets along the outside of the car, pushed up and then drilled, installed metal screws to lock it in. Sealed with black RTV as suggested by DTM, but it was so tight of a fit, didnt really need much, and if yours fits as tight, flowable silicone could work as well.

Looking at the Cliq version, it does not appear to be able to install the same, and looks like you will have to remove the channel to allow the lip to fit. The reason i liked the DTM is I could retain the drains and gutter, just in case any water did work it's way in over time. It's also reversible should someone want to put a sunroof back in.

mine did have a little lip, which i put 3m Super Strength Molding Tape to help hold things up and just keep things from settling during installation.

I welded the stock metal panel in. Bkuz racecar. If you decide to use the top of the roll cage,
watching the track slide by at 78 mph is just not psychologically healthy.

But first, I cut away the #33 of metal structure that comes with a sunroof. So that was a net
gain AND a reduction in skid lid potential. Plus, class- legal.

I then used a urethane based seam sealer (thick glue) which remains a bit flexible, since the now-
lightened roof structure moves around- a lot.
