Got to working on the stereo install. Pulled the door panels rear seats center console all the speakers and the factory head unit. Sony iPod radio in and working with blue tooth mic in the little dash nipple on the HVAC controls. Rear speaker pods in tan looked kind of tired so I shot them in a cool textured black paint and the grills in gloss black, reshot the tweeter pods for the doors also black textured came out looking far better than the pics indicate. All RCAs run and speaker wires, rear speakers and crossovers installed fronts up next then the amp and basslink from Infinity. Ready for the leather console and door parts to arrive.
Damn, how'd I miss this? Welcome. Good to see a fellow Chicagoan! We should definitely start a Chicago something. Super awesome work. Looks like you bought a wheel for taink. I almost bought one. Probably shouldv'e. And finally someone else who buys the car and then just goes order crazy. I not alone.
There was a meet today. People are still there. It was at the Dominicks on Canal till the cops showed up then we headed to the weigh station in China Town. A few drifters.

Worked all Saturday on getting my amp mounted in the trunk. Wanted to get it installed with no mods to the car and managed to pull it off without putting so much as a single screw into any part of the car. Amp rack is pressure fit on top of the jack cover quite securely and when closed the trunk hinge holds it in place in case it tries to move. Also got the Infinity Basslink mounted and hooked up stereo is sounding pretty good even wthout any tuning as of yet.

Took the car to SoWo through Tail fo the Dragon
Stored the car at GT HAUS last winter while they built a full one off valved exhaust for the car.
I need to get under my hood and detail and put in new reservoirs. This winter will see some rust repair above the rear lic plate and under the battery tray. I am starting to get the itch to finish off the doors and rear panels in real leather. All I need is a money tree.
