Ohh if I tell her its worse to have a air bag in a E30 than to not have one she wont let me have one all around . Because my brother ruined her and any reason for me not to get a car I WANT she will tell me I cant get it. Its her way or the highway. And I just need to buy one with an airbag. She never said anything about putting a quick release on it!

You can still buy an e30; show her that it has an airbag, and then just take it off and replace it with a different wheel: only thing you need is a spacer to make it work

In fact.. I'm about to get rid of my airbag wheel myself

air bag lol, took mine out. these cars are made of real steel not plastic shit they are made from now. Pretty damn safe. Even if it did have an air bag it's the first time airbags were being used and probably has problems from sitting for 20 years.

Can you enlighten me to your source of information supporting this assertion?

It depends largely on the nature of a given accident. E30 air bags are loud and harsh, and most of the time won't do anything to help you. You'll get hit hard in the face and likely get powder burns, you won't be able to hear too well for a day, and most of the time the seatbelt will be enough. These older airbags are most likely cause more damage than they prevent, unless it is a completely straight on collision and you're seated improperly and not wearing a seatbelt. Newer airbags are quieter and less likely to hurt you when they deploy.

Source: observations of what people have said about them and asking people who've had e30 airbags go off in their faces.
The first car I ever rode in was an e30

Here's a quick comparison for you with a Mtech1 wheel.

Another member's car with the airbag:

Mine (please don't mind the grass clippings):
The old wheel is on the passenger floor... will not be going back anytime soon.
