+1 for the IIGO chip. Also, with an S14, the power is in head. A 2.5 bottom end with a stock head won't make much of a difference.

If you are interested in the IIGO chips, Luis can be reached at s14chips@sbcglobal.net It often takes him a while to get back to you. (sometimes weeks.) Here is a link to an archived Iigomotiv site. http://web.archive.org/web/200404041...hipTuning.aspx The site is now defunct but the info is still there.
The IIGO chip is really nice. It transformed the car. (I started the S14.net thread) The car runs better across the board. The bottom end has a lot more pull, it runs smoother when its cold, and absolutely screams from 6K to 7800 rpm. I haven't had a chance to autocross the car with the chip yet, but I have a feeling it will be quite a bit faster than it was with the stock chip.
I'd shy away from the Turner chips. When I was doing my homework on aftermarket chips, I read a lot of threads about blown motors and the common item was a Turner chip. They seem to be tuned far too close to the ragged edge

Iigo SP93 is just a bit more advance in tuning for the 93 octane gas.

I have the Iigo sp93 and was light years ahead of the superchip that was in it. The other one was just to rich and was over fueling the engine causing it to run like a pig.

Thx,yeah cars completely stock. The two previous owners were women. Yeah I've considered TMS as well.

Thanks for the feedback guys, I'm new to the s14. I've emailed s14.nets site owner but still no response. Guess ill keep the engine stock and go for exhaust and intake mods

Many have fell victim of the slippery slope of chasing hp. Drive the car for now appreciate it. Have the valves adjusted if you haven't done so.
My white car went through two 2.5L engines....why improper fueling. Detonation is not pretty. The other time a broken valve spring killed it. Now it's happy running a mild modded 2.3l
I will say I am glad I didn't pay for the 2.5L setups.
