    Its was a tight fit! But if you minimize the wiring for example you bring just one power source and just make little jumpers for the other guages than all you have is the signal wire! But I did cut a bit of carpet because of the actual bracket for guages it was pushing up about 1/6" but in the end it worked out.

    Not plastic... Its powder coated aluminum.

    Kinda of.

    Abnormally high oil temps can be indicative of excessive bottom-end friction (main bearings in the case of S14s), IIRC. Also, abnormally low coolant temps can be indicative an incorrect thermostat. Not saying that's the case here though.
