That's weird, because I've owned other E30's including an 87 325is and they all had chrome. IIRC, the 318is also came with black trim pieces, however I'm not sure I've seen a M3 that came stock with chrome. On the contrary, this wouldn't be the first time I was wrong.Comment

Very fun purchase, good luck with all the work you plan on putting in to it! I agree with the above statements that it's best to keep it non-stock/modified. At least you won't have to spend time and $ searching for hard-to-find stock parts. You can have fun making it look and work like you want it to.________________________________
