    Dusten, my 87 325is and 91 325 both have black trim on the cards. Maybe the chrome came on the 318?

      That's weird, because I've owned other E30's including an 87 325is and they all had chrome. IIRC, the 318is also came with black trim pieces, however I'm not sure I've seen a M3 that came stock with chrome. On the contrary, this wouldn't be the first time I was wrong.

            Very fun purchase, good luck with all the work you plan on putting in to it! I agree with the above statements that it's best to keep it non-stock/modified. At least you won't have to spend time and $ searching for hard-to-find stock parts. You can have fun making it look and work like you want it to.
