16x7.5 fronts 16x8.5 rears what tyre size?

    16x7.5 fronts 16x8.5 rears what tyre size?

    Just got my m3 :)

    I have put hartge staggered 16s on it and I want the most correct OEM style tyre size.

    Hope someone can help.
    Pulling my hair out with all these friggin BMW's:
    2000 M5 Winter beater
    1984 318i Coupe 2.5 S14 going in the car below.
    1988 M3 Lachssilber: I'm the second owner, currently recommissioning.

    225/45 is as close as you will come to the factory 15's overall diameter.

      Yes I think they will be the size I will get, for both front and rear.

      This is how the car sits with the current tyres on the Hartge rims



      The tyres are 225/50/16 and they rub on the inner guards when trying to turn.
      Pulling my hair out with all these friggin BMW's:
      2000 M5 Winter beater
      1984 318i Coupe 2.5 S14 going in the car below.

        Yeah those are beefy. It's amazing what 5% can do, yeah?

          Yes 16-45-225 would fit nice. Here is a pic out of my Hartge catalog what they recommended back in the day.

                Jack bought new center caps from Hartge.
