FS: S14 Refurbished AFM Air Flow Meter

    Greetings,

I have for a sale a fully refurbished S14 AFM. I personally refurbished this unit using the techniques from my thread on the topic, I have over three pages of great reviews on my AFMs.

However, this AFM originally had a missing lid. It now has a standard 325i lid. The body, internals, and all electronics are OEM S14 parts. I have carefully inspected and tested this unit to be exactly matching the S14 AFM. Here is a summary of the process that I used.

-All electricals are disassembled, cleaned, and adjusted onto fresh material.
-All mechanical pivots are lubricated with Teflon.
-Intake air temperature sensor is confirmed to be within spec.
-Internal spring is confirmed S14 and adjusted within spec.
-Bead blasted on the exterior and clear coated.
-AFM is thoroughly tested with repeat ability and accuracy tests. All tests are performed on an oscilloscope.

I am confident this AFM is at or near new condition and specs.

Asking $225 with $50 core deposit included, shipping included. 1 year repair warranty included. Accept Paypal. First person to message me their Paypal address will get it. I will send an official Paypal invoice.

Here are photos of the AFM and its feedback testing.

The following are o-scope prints. Volts on left, time on bottom. 13 open/close cycles in 10 seconds. Very nice feedback, like new.

Slow open/close cycle. Very clean linear feedback, without any voltage drops or spikes to zero volts.

High speed air intake testing, simulates full throttle. Very clean signal over and over, no drops to zero volts.

Zoom up of idle speed intake volume. Notice voltage scale is zoomed from 0-1V instead of 0-5V. Nice clean signal, like new.

I'm curious. How do you adjust "within specs"? What specs are those?
Brake harder. Go faster. No shit.

Without going into too much detail, I have reference measurements from new air flow meters. Please review my thread on the topic, many members can vouch for the quality of my AFMs.

Are you using a flowbench to compare air flow and voltage?

Yes, in addition I have over 8 years pro experience in measuring equipment design, setup, and calibration including flow rate systems.

If you have more questions feel free to contact me via PM and we can speak in more depth about data acquisition system design.
