Feeler - Brake adapters 318ti to E36 M3 rear brakes

I am going to start producing adapters to fit E36 M3 rear brakes onto 318ti trailing arms. I want to see how many people would be interested.

It would come with the adapter and all the hardware to make it work. The price would be pretty fair.

Let me know what you think guys (or gals) :)

Well 318ti hubs and bearings can be pressed into E30 trailing arms. So yes, if you use 318ti hubs and bearings you can use them on e30 TA.

E30 and 318Ti share the mounting pattern for brake caliper the difference is that the 318ti uses a rotor with a HUGE offset in it to bring the braking surface to the caliper.

Definitely interested, but unfortunately not until June.

Would the only pieces needed from an E36 M3 be the calipers, rotors and pads?

If you can take some measurements for me rkettner I am sure I am make something for you.

The mounting of the caliper is the same but the difference is going to be the thickness of the flange.

will this work on 1.9 z3 rear arms as well? If so, YES I am interested.

                            Whatever happened to this?

I want to start gathering parts for a 5 lug swap this winter and would love to be able to have M brakes all around. Bias should already be good, and they were good enough for the S52 going in the car, they should easily have plenty of power/fade resistance for the significantly lighter E30.

rotors are completely different sizes, lol. Besides e36 m3 having vented rear rotors, there's also a big problem with rotor spacing (about 25mm of a problem)

I really wish this could have worked, I'd be stoked to get this in the rear.
