    e30 m3 5 lug swap Q?

I've found an intact e30 m3 parts car. Everything is there from this recently running car. Is the e30 m3 a good 5 lug swap?

IMO, e30 M3 is the only [correct] way to do a 5-lug swap.

      '91 318is - OBD-II S52 swapped - E30 M3 5-lug - 5x120 BBS RC090 (E39 Style 5) - TCK D/A coilovers 550/700 [SOLD]
      '87 535i - Vacuum brake conversion [SOLD]
      '93 525iT - 5-speed swap - 320k and counting
      '09 328xi - 6-speed

^ Unless you design a new lollipop that corrects caster.

Interesting, I thought the e36 was the way to go since it's so more common. Is that becuase the e30 parts are harder to get?

e30 keeps the correct caster and et. E36 doesn't but is cheaper. Go the e30 way.

                        Just a little note...

I went the impure e36 M3 front route... my caster is within factor specs, BUT visually my front wheels are about 1/4" to far rear. Not bad huh?

Now when I'm shopping for wheels what size and offset? Can i go with wheels designed for e30 m3's? It would seem that e30 m3 wheels would be too wide for e30 325 wheel wells. Thoughts?

You can just about run anything the e30 M3 can run, just stay in the et20-25 range and maybe up to 8.5" wide in the fronts (depends on offset) and 9" wide rears without any major work at all. Anything with a lower offset you will need to do some fender rolling and maybe flaring. Anything with a higher offset will require spacers to get you back to the et20-25 range.
