What's the final verdict on Z3 rear hub swaps?

    So much contradicting information...

What's the final verdict on best rear Z3 setup that will retain stock E30 trailing arms and stock E30 axles?

    What hubs?
    What brakes?

    Thanks. :)

z3 hubs from I-6 models with all z3 brakes.... there shouldn't be anymore contradicting information since http://www.torque-bound.com/5-lug.html

when it comes to z3 hubs there's nothing new to be learned between Clavin and I.

        I-6 Z3 only? I thought you could use 1.9 Z3 stuff too?

Use just the z3 6 cylinder hubs/bearings and the brake parts.

          or

Use complete z3 1.9L / 318ti (4 cylinder) trailing arm assemblies with everything on them (brakes, hubs, etc.).

          -------------------------

If I am not mistaken, the 4 cylinder z3 / 318ti has a deeper hub with narrower arms, and the 6 cylinder z3 has shallower hub and wider arms... all yielding the same offset in the end.

Going the z3 1.9L / 318ti way gives you SLIGHTLY smaller rear wheel bearings... enough for Aptyp to hate

And use e30 M3 for the fronts? Is there ANY other way? I have a set of GC Z3m fronts. I wonder if I can use those with a 1.9 hub and just dial it in...

Any been there tried that epic failz?
