make sure the tire you put on the wheel isn't wider than 205, otherwise it will also elevate the trunk (and make sure the overall diameter isn't larger than the e30 diameter).
i am currently using a 16x7 et20 steel wheel (e38 winter wheel, ~$100 from dealer) as my spare. i could've gotten an e46 wheel but didn't feel like it.
