    Style 42's

I noticed that some folks are running e39 Style 5's and leaving the hub cap off, an inelegant solution in my opinion.

If you want exposed lug bolts, take a look at e39 Style 42's, ET 20 in 8x17, similar construction to Style 5's.

    On my e28.

    On an e28 M5.

These were also available for the Z3 6-cylinder models. Four Z3 front wheels will also fit the Z3 1.9L front and rear.

They look great, did you need the M3 fenders to clear?

i don't find them to be that similar to the style 5's since the style 42's aren't a weave, but i LOVE them so much on my E39 that I wouldn't ever want to replace them with anything except for maybe an 18" Style 42, which I've heard may or may not exist, or if there were a way to widen them by getting wider lips... mmmm

How are these similar to style 5's again? The only similarity I see is that they are both wheels.
