Would e36 hubs fit e30 struts??

I saw this build thread http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=192914 And the guy placed a e36 hub on a unmodified e30 strut, and I wanted to know would this actually work good or is it an accident waiting to happen?

    I'd really appreciate some info!

You can on the rears but the fronts are completely different. Now there are some guys coming up with a way to do this but its not as easy as take one off and slap the other one on.

you need e36 brake discs and callipers, then you need adapters for brake callipers and steel sleeve to go on the axle so the e36 hub can by mounted...
