5lug swap help

hello R3V,

i have been reading and posting and trying to gather all the info i can, but now i have decided the 5lug rout i would like to go. i want to run the z3m rear brakes but have heard if you use the subframe and all it is in fact wider than the non m e30 and will have everything poke out and you have to go with a odd offset wheel. is this true? if so what would i have to do to utalize the z3m brakes on either the 318ti rear set up or standard z3.

You don't use the mz3 subframe. The z3m trailing arms bolt to the e30 subframe. http://www.extradrei.com/5lug.html
