Will 16x8" wheels fir correctly w/M3 suspension?

I'm about to purchase a set of 16x8 wheels that are et11. I was reading though a few posts and saw that you should have an ET of 30-40 with m3 suspension. I honestly don't know what will work as i have no experience with this suspension.

I thought an et of 30-40 was only used on FWD cars.

    Not with that offset NO.

16x8 would fit with a ET25 offset. ET20 is very much right at the edge and you will likely need to run stretched tires.

Jordan, would it be possible to run style 5's your current 5 lug setup? mine is currently stock E30 m3 all round, but am looking to go bigger brakes like you have.

Possible with spacers or no way in hell?

Spacers would make it worse if anything. Style 5's are already low offset wheels. I doubt Jordan can fit Style 5's on his car, since he needs E36 offset wheels, which are a higher offset than the style 5's, or any E39 wheel.

          Keep it slideways!!

            No, no way in hell.

Low offset wheels will not work.

Proper 5lug swaps are expensive. e30 forum kiddies don't have money. duh.

I bolted on the 17x8.5 et13 wheels from my m3 last weekend to my 318 w/e30 m3 suspension. No clearance problems at all, I could easily run that setup if I rolled the rear fender lip. I had lock to lock with no rubbing. 235/40/17 all around.

It looked funny with the wheels poking out of the fender by 1"...I know it's euro cool, but it was a little too much poke for my taste.
