    NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    You would need z3m axles.

Get regular e36 non m rear hubs. They bolt right up.

Just pulled out a spair set of e30 struts, and yea, not enough to go from 100 base circle to 120mm - that would be cutting it close.

You could do it but it would be on the edge...if not past it.

Definitely not enough meat on the front hubs to redrill .
And not much room on the rears either .

Can someone remind me why a machine shop can re-drill/tap stock 4-lug hubs to 5 lugs? Not even do the rotor - just the one-time redrill of the hubs, then a spacer/adapter on the caliper for say e36 m3 binders???

I think that is what would be most cost effective.... no???

    .....

I'm not quite sure... I'm going to speak to my engineer sometime this week. I still need to go and buy some E28 hubs.

I'll leave it up to him... while I'm there I think I i must snap some pictures of the engine block he made for his Door Slammer... crazy, engineering on that thing.

Just a bit of an update... I've decieded to pursue this here in South Africa, with my race car.

Updates will follow as soon as my engineering shop gets it done.

333i ... it came with the same suspension as any other e30, just with Alpina Springs, and Front Sway bar.

    Had Alpina's as std.

only our 325iS evo's came out with M3 suspension but with just over 500 built u can see how hard it is to get the struts.

I know he was banned... was just asking, out of curiosity if any other members could do it... shit I could get it done if I knew what specs to make the sleeve 2.

This sleeve interests me... I know the best way would be to get M3 struts, and that is my ideal path, but here in South Africa they are rarer than chickens teeth, as we only had just over 500 cars built with M3 suspension in SA.

I mean it's taken me just over 6 months to get hold of M3 rear hubs, and I want to get my race car on the go, and suspension and brakes are the only things holding me up.

I don't see the difference between 'homebrew' and Mov'it. The kits were designed by Brembo for Porsche. Mov'it sells them to others. We're trying, hypothetically, to do the same thing.
    Or perhaps I misunderstood?
There are, in any case, two options, depending basically on what one can obtain from SKF (who makes the wheel bearings for most german cars).
One is to actually use a sleeve, an E30 M3 bearing and an adapter plate between the hub and whatever rotor is chosen.
The other option is to actually take apart a regular E30 bearing and fabricate the outer hub with an appropriate plate, etc. This would possibly mean more CNC work and it would tie the hub to a specific rotor configuration, but it would make for a cleaner solution and it would enable us to custom fit the hub to the standard E30 ABS ring.
Any opinions would be appreciated. I already went the E30 M3 full setup + SBI-alike spacers. There has to be a better - cheaper, cleaner - way.
